cPanel Access
To manage your account we've provided you with cPanel access.
All DISKMANdotNet web hosting customers have complete access to their Control Panel to be able to manage their web hosting facilities.
Via your cPanel, you can access things like:
- email accounts management
- email forwarders setup
- spam control filters
- check out your web stats
- applications like blogs, shopping carts etc
- see the column on theright for more info or simply log into your cPanel and check it out for yourself.
To access your cPanel,simply type your domain name followed by a forward slash (/) and then cpanel after it.
Eg, http://yourdomain.com/cpanel/
At the prompt enter your username and password as provided by us when we hooked up your hosting account. Or if you have forgotten or misplaced that email, contact us and we'll reset it and re-email you.
FTP Access
To upload your web site, images, media etc, you will probably prefer to do this via FTP. FTP means File Transfer Protocol and you can easily access this using programs like Filezilla (free), CuteFTP (shareware), Absolute FTP (shareware) to menion but a few.
Your FTP settings are as follows:
Host name: yourdomain.com (or the IP address of the server your account is on.)
Port: 21
Username: is the same as your cPanel username
Password: is the same as your cPanel password
Folder to upload into: /public_html
